2-hour hands-on session (held at TroutChasers Lodge in Bozeman):
In this hands-on session, participants will practice reading the water to understand trout habitats and where to find them. In addition, we will discuss how to read water temperatures and when and when not to fish, how to fight the fish to alleviate pressure, best catch-and-release methods, and how to get pictures while “keeping them wet” and not over-stressing the fish.
Students may use their own fly fishing equipment or borrow equipment if needed. This class requires a valid Montana fishing license.
